The Bully Wee came away from Bayview with just a point this afternoon despite having the majority of play and chances.

Ian McCall made one change to his side, with Martin Rennie returning from injury in place of Alex King, who returned to Morton following his loan spell.

East Fife took the lead after just five minutes when Brogan Walls crashed a shot off the woodwork, and the rebound fell kindly for Nathan Austin to head home into an empty net.

Logan Dunachie attempted to net his fourth goal in as many games as he turned inside and hit a left footed shot, which bounced off the back of Robbie Leitch and ended narrowly wide of the post.

A quick counter attack up the other end saw Austin almost double his tally but he skewed an effort just wide after getting on the end of a cross.

Clyde were back on level terms 10 minutes before the interval after a shot from Robbie Leitch was initially blocked, before Barry Cuddihy flicked it into the path of Martin Rennie to rifle home from close range.

Rennie then tried his luck from much further out with a powerful effort which forced Allan Fleming to scamper and make a strong save.

The Bully Wee started the second half strongly with Connor Young striking the post with a free-kick and seconds later Rennie forced Fleming into action again; getting fingertips to deflect his shot over the bar.

Young then benefitted from hesitancy in the home defence and nipped inbetween Murdoch and Fleming to take the ball and round the ‘keeper, but none of his teammates could get on the end of his cutback.

Clyde continued to create chances in the closing stages; Kian Leslie drove into the box and fired a low effort on target from a narrow angle which Fleming got a glove too, and in the last minute Young had an opportunity at goal but couldn’t direct his shot on target.
