Clyde aimed to see out the year on a high and extend their unbeaten run to seven games.

The home side certainly started brighter and an excellent run down the left wing by Arbuckle, when he completely out-paced Allan McManus, was not matched by his cut back and the ball was cleared from danger.

Kevin Bradley was again filling in for the suspended Dougie Imrie, and he would open the scoring and get his first senior goal in spectacular fashion. After neat play in the midfield, Smith sprayed the ball wide to Taz, who from all of thirty yards, surely attempted a cross, but as soon as the ball left his boot, it was only ever going in one direction: the top corner!

Clearly stung, the visitors responded well. After Jackson had managed to convince referee Brines that he was fouled, despite the linesman being a yard away and giving nothing, Craig managed to deliver a deep set piece that was only partially cleared by McGregor. Daal had plenty of space and time to float the ball back into the box, where McManus had a free header to knock the ball down for Jackson to tap home.

7 minutes later and Saints were in front and again Craig was heavily involved. After playing two neat one twos with Stanic and Moon he burst into the box. He was then brought down by McKeown although he didn't need much encouragement. Peter McDonald made sure of the goal at the second attempt after Hutton had guessed right to save the penalty.

The only other action of note in the 1st half was booking for Marvyn Wilson for high feet.

Clyde started the second half, much like the first and only a lucky deflection prevented a Div McGowan shot at least forcing Main to make a save after good work from the other McGowan. Mikey would then try his luck with a well hit free kick that was fairly central but still forced Main to tip over.

With just over 30 minutes to go Wilson received a second yellow for a foul on Moon.

Clyde would actually have the lions share of possession for the remainder of the game, but created very little, as opposed to the visitor's who should have increased there lead when Hutton somehow managed to save a Daal tap in, and that save done enough to put off McDonald when the rebound fell to him.

In the dying stages, Clyde were caught after pushing McGregor and McKeown up front, Higgins would lose out in the box to Moon and the midfielder finished well.
