One of Clyde’s poorest displays of the season resulted in only our second First Division defeat at Broadwood. After a decent start a farcical own goal by Dougie Imrie set the tone for the majority of the match as the Highlanders did little but still won comfortably thanks to soft goals.
Dean Shields saw red for County on his debut after a late challenge on Robert Harris and then goals by Ferguson and Masterton gave a brief glimmer of hope of a late comeback but it was always going to be an impossible task.
Before the match The Bully Wee had only conceded five league goals at home over the whole campaign
