Community Foundation Seeks Trustees
The Clyde FC Community Foundation is seeking additional volunteers to act as Trustees and serve on its board.
Volunteer trustees/directors are being recruited as we aim to develop the work of the Foundation in the communities where we are active in the Cumbernauld area and the South side of Glasgow.
In addition to football coaching activities for boys and girls through community football teams, holiday football courses and football centres, the Foundation uses the power of football and sport, to deliver a number of initiatives to support people in the local community, from pre-school and school age children to people experiencing mental health or addiction issues and older adults.
If you have a passion for the club and want to see the work of the Foundation further enhanced to benefit local communities, we’d like to hear from you. It’s a great opportunity to get involved in making more good things happen in the name of the club.
The board has responsibility for leading the strategic direction of the Foundation and for ensuring the governance and legal obligations to OSCR and Companies House are met. Ideally we are looking for individuals with a range of professional skills so that we can develop a stronger organisation but in particular we are seeking knowledge or experience in HR and volunteer management, community development, fundraising and administration. The key however is having the passion and dedication necessary to support the work of the club’s charitable arm and ensure that all who participate in the activities of the Foundation have fun in a safe and friendly environment.
Board meetings are held monthly and in line with Covid Protocols are held via Teams or Zoom. If you are interested and want an application form or would like more information then please email foundation@clydefc.co.uk
