Barry Signs On For Tenth Season
We are pleased to announce that Barry Cuddihy has signed a new contract ahead of the 2026-27 season. The one-year extension will see Barry embark on a tenth season with The Bully Wee, becoming just the 13th player in the post-war era, and 5th in the last 50 years, to spend a decade with Clyde.
The midfielder signed in July 2017 from Annan Athletic, and has made 285 appearances to date, placing him in 27th place in the club’s all-time appearances list.
Darren Young commented:
“It’s another deal I’m delighted to get over the line. Barry has a big influence both on and off the pitch. He brings real experience and intelligence to our game, while his presence and leadership in the dressing room are just as important. He’s also a great professional and sets high standards every day around the club.
“He’s a massive part of Clyde and the club means a lot to him. You don’t often see someone stay at a club for a decade in modern football, and that in itself shows his loyalty and commitment.”
