Staff and Players Back 200 Fund
Clyde’s staff and players have given their backing to the 200 Fund, as it continues to get closer to its target.
125 people have already subscribed to the initiative, now in its second year, which allows supporters to contribute directly to the playing budget and enter a fortnightly draw to win a significant cash prize.
Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon revealed that the first team group would also be doing what they can to contribute to the 200 mark being reached before the start of the season. He said:-
“I want to let our supporters know that the staff and players are also committed to backing the 200 Fund. We will be asking family, friends and colleagues to sign-up in the coming days.
“We have strong characters in the squad, who are willing to taking the club forward both on and off the park. As I’ve said before, when we make things a team effort from all involved then we will see success come quicker.”
To ensure entry in the first draw, taking place on Saturday 4th August at the Cowdenbeath match, the deadline for joining is Sunday (29th July).
