2018 Golf Day Approaches

The final preparations are being put in place ahead of the Clyde FC Annual Golf Day, which is now only a few weeks away.

The event takes place on Monday 7th May at the popular venue of The Westerwood Golf & Country Club, Cumbernauld. The new Monday slot coincides with a public holiday in Scotland.

The club is delighted to announce that Pat Nevin has been confirmed as one of the celebrity golfers on the day. The former Clyde and Scotland player, who attended Broadwood on Saturday as a guest, said: “I’m really looking forward to it. It’ll be good to meet up with some old teammates and friends and also make some new friends.”

Further well-known participants will be confirmed soon.

A limited amount of spaces remain to be allocated to anyone wishing to take part. The cost to enter is £100+VAT per person or £350+VAT for a team of three. To secure a place, please contact Graham Murray at businessclub@clydefc.co.uk.

Each team will be accompanied by a special guest player from Clyde FC, the wider football community and beyond.

The agenda for the day will include breakfast on arrival, 18-hole ‘Texas Scramble’ golf, an afternoon meal and a raffle, auction and prizegiving to conclude the event.
