Clyde FC Launch New Business Club

Following the earlier announcement on the official website, the formal launch of the Clyde FC Business Club goes ahead as planned next Friday at the Rutherglen Business networking event being held at the Burnside Hotel.

Spearheading the launch, along with Club Director Bobby Gracey, will be the recently appointed brothers, and business partners, Gary & Craig Hosie in the roles of Business Club Managers.

Looking ahead Bobby admitted, “For some time I have felt that the club needs to develop formal links with the business community and the creation of the business club now enables us to commence that journey. This link is further critical to attract external investment into the club and to cross leverage into our wider commercial and fundraising efforts.

“I know what Gary and Craig will bring to our table and I’m really excited about working closely with them both.

“I will also have the pleasure of welcoming Cheryl Dunn and Kenny Campbell as the first members of our business club and this will coincide with the finalisation of a significant commercial negotiation that will see them sponsoring the front of all three strips next season.”

Gary Hosie said, “We are delighted to have this fantastic opportunity to help the club by launching the Clyde FC Business Club with Bobby. We believe this will help enable the club to engage more with it’s current sponsors and also reach out to new businesses that will hopefully invest in the club in the near future and share their contacts with us.

“We are very excited to be part of the journey and share the club’s vision to build up new commercial relationships and allow those business people to use Clyde FC as part of their business development efforts.”

Craig followed up, “We believe for businesses like our own, PTS Clean, this is a great opportunity to get closer to the club and expose organisations to new contacts that will hopefully benefit all parties involved.

“We would like to take this opportunity to encourage any company that might be interested in working closely with the club to contact us as we would be delighted to speak more about the Clyde FC Business Club. We also hope that Clyde fans that might not be business owners but are at senior management level will similarly contact us as we would be delighted to expand on what we are trying to do and appreciate any input.”

Bobby concluded, “It is so important that we continue to develop new revenue streams into the club, which will serve to provide additional funds for the further development of football related spend at the club and beyond.”

Membership of the Business Club starts at £500 and includes the following benefits:-

  • Access to six exclusive business networking events per year

  • Company logo & website link via Clyde Partners section of the official website for full season
