Youth Development

This weekend marks another busy time for Alan Upton and his coaches as all of the Clyde Youth Development sides are in action. The Under 19s travel on Sunday to face Alloa seeking to avenge a 3-0 reverse in the Bully Wee’s previous encounter with the Wasps this season.

The under 19 squad are in great form losing only one of their last seven matches. That form has also seen the youngsters being introduced to the first team squad as demonstrated by Sean McKenna and David McGowan in recent weeks.

It has been a remarkable progress as this was another part of the club that had to be rebuilt last summer and the results at all levels are a credit to the commitment of the players their families and the coaching staff.
