Optical Express Backing Clyde

Clyde FC are delighted that Optical Express have once again chosen to support the Bully Wee as the club’s first team sponsor. Director John Ruddy confirmed the news, “It’s fantastic that Optical Express have put their faith in Clyde for a further 12 months.”

“These are tough times for clubs and it is a major boost for us to secure a first team sponsor by this stage for season 2006/07. We are definitely looking forward to working closely with Optical Express and promoting their company image throughout Scotland.”

Optical Express commenced their partnership with Clyde in 2005 and it has been a time that has seen a remarkable turnaround in the club’s fortunes. From the pre season Optical Express Challenge Cup match with Manchester United to the Scottish cup victory against Celtic, fans have enjoyed some memorable occasions at Broadwood.

Optical Express are based in Cumbernauld but are a company known throughout the UK. Since they joined forces with the Clyde the Bully Wee have enjoyed some great times so here’s hoping next season brings more of the same.
