Barry Hits 250
Barry Cuddihy marked another personal milestone during Saturday’s game against Bonnyrigg Rose as he made his landmark 250th appearance for The Bully Wee.
A Clyde player achieving this feat has been rare in modern times, with Barry the first player to achieve 250 appearances for the club in 30 years, and only the third player in the last 40 years. Keith Knox hit 250 in August 1994, whilst Ross McFarlane reached the same number in November 1989.
The popular midfielder joined The Bully Wee in the summer of 2017 from Annan Athletic and has been a mainstay in the side ever since.
Barry becomes just the 35th player in the club’s 148 year history to reach 250 appearances, and the 20th player in the post-war era.
Cuddihy joins the following players in the 250 club:-
Brian Ahern, Eddie Anderson, Harry Beaton, John Brown, Jim Burns, Jimmy Campbell, Henry Cowan, Peter Farrell, Willie Finlay, Neil Gibson, John Gilligan, Harry Glasgow, Harry Haddock, Sam Hastings, Jimmy Hickie, Keith Knox, Hugh Long, Tommy McCulloch, Ross McFarlane, John McHugh, Eddie Mulheron, Albert Murphy, Tommy O’Neill, Tommy Ring, Archie Robertson, George Robertson, Tommy Shingleton, Matthew Smith, Willie Stevenson, Eddie Summers, William Walker, Dougie Wallace, Ned Weir & Davie White.
