PREVIEW: Clyde v Airdrieonians
Clyde play the second of three home game this week in cinch League 1, as Airdrie make the short trip to Broadwood.
The previous game between the side was abandoned due to fog midway through the second half with the visitors leading 2-1 after two goals from Gabby McGill either side of Rob Jones’ header.
The first match of the season did finish 2-1 to The Diamonds, as David Goodwillie got the only goal for us in the first half.
Airdrie currently sit second in the league on 41 points, and will be looking to try and catch up to league leaders Cove Rangers while Clyde are in 6th place on 25 points, 4 points off the play off positions.
There is no new injury concerns for Clyde going into this game, and Danny Lennon should have the same squad to choose from as he did against Queen’s Park.
Tickets purchased for the original match are not valid for Tuesday’s match and new tickets should be purchased. Reduced pricing has been set as follows;
- Adults – £13
- Concessions – £10
- Under-18 – £4
- Under-12 – £1 (only available to purchase from ticket window on matchday)
Tickets are now on sale through the Clyde FC Ticket Store or through the TicketCo Wallet app on your smartphone.
Season Card holders will be able to use balances on their Season Card to access this match as normal, with £7 being deducted instead of the usual £13 for Adults.
MATCHDAY INFORMATION
Kick-off: 7.45pm
Tickets: Entry to the match is by season card or ticket. Tickets are available to purchase at a reduced rate in advance from the Ticket Store. Supporters attending are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets online to avoid the need to queue.
Tickets bought for the original fixture are not valid for this game, new tickets must be purchased.
Cash/Contactless Payment: Those wishing to pay by cash, contactless cards or Google/Apple Pay must purchase a ticket from the ticket window next to turnstile C before entering at the gate with their ticket. It is however strongly recommended to purchase tickets in advance online as above.
Stadium Entry: All entry gates will be signed. Home and away supporters should enter by the double doors to the left of turnstile D.
Seating Arrangements: Away supporters will be seated in the South end of the Main Stand. The lower central section of the Main Stand behind the dugouts will be closed as this area is required to seat substitutes and backroom staff of both teams.
Season Cards: Season Card holders should download the TicketCo Wallet app for your phone before arriving at the stadium. Press “USE” within the app to display the large QR code to be scanned on entry. A help guide on how to use the app can be found here. Volunteers will be in attendance to help anyone who needs assistance with the new app.
Season Card Holders: Enter by the single door disabled entrance to the left of turnstile D.
Arria Fanzone: The Arria Fanzone will be closed for this match.
Live Stream: The match will be streamed live, with stream access available to be purchased through the Ticket Store, priced at £13. Coverage will start around 7.30pm. A help guide to the streaming service can be found here.

Car Parking: There will be no parking available at the front of the stadium due to the COVID-19 test centre in the car park. However those travelling to the stadium by car should note that there will be a limited number of spaces in away car park at the rear of the South Stand. Other car parking provision can also be accessed within the Broadwood Campus and surrounding areas. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to obtain one of the limited designated car parking spaces available.
Club Shop: The club shop will be open from 7.00pm for the sale of Clyde merchandise, located off the disabled entrance corridor.
Kiosks: Food and drinks will be available to be purchased once again from Kiosk One underneath the Main Stand, from 7.00pm onwards This Kiosk will also be accessible to away fans
Face Coverings: Face coverings are not mandatory inside the stadium but fans are encouraged to continue to wear these. Masks should be worn when moving from seats into enclosed areas such as kiosks and toilets.
Track & Trace: Check In Scotland QR codes will be posted at various points around the stadium. Please take the time to scan these on your phone and check in to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
