Lang Returns to Clyde
The club is delighted to announce the signing of Tom Lang from Dunfermline Athletic.
Tom has put pen to paper on a deal for the 2020-21 season with Clyde, after a mutual compensation arrangement was agreed by both clubs.
The 23-year-old defender is, of course, no stranger to The Bully Wee, having previously been with the club between 2018 and 2019 and then returning on loan at the start of 2020.
Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-
“I’m sure everyone associated with this great club will be delighted with the news that we have signed Tom for another year. Over the past couple of seasons, Tom has been an integral part of the success and positive dynamic of the team.
“He has tremendous qualities throughout all aspects of his game and is the epitome of the modern centre half. We look forward to working with him again and achieving positive things together.
“Our desire is to keep moving the club forward and improve our standing in Scottish football. Having Tom commit to that cause is another positive step and he will make a vital contribution to the quality of our performances and results in the weeks and months ahead.”
The list of players currently contracted for the 2020-21 campaign is; Jamie Bain, Barry Cuddihy, Ross Cunningham, David Goodwillie, Jay Henderson, Craig Howie, Josh Jack, Chris Johnston, Mark Lamont, Tom Lang, Ally Love, Martin McNiff, David Mitchell, Lloyd Robertson, Scott Rumsby, Matthew Shiels, Kristoffer Syvertsen and David Wilson.
