Henderson Named in Under-19 Squad

Jay Henderson has been named in the latest Scotland Under-19 squad, ahead of two friendly matches against England next week.

The 18-year-old winger, currently on loan from St. Mirren, will travel south to the St. George’s Park National Football Centre for the matches on October 8th and 11th.

As a result, Jay will miss The Bully Wee’s Betfred Cup match against Dumbarton on Saturday 10th.

Clyde manager, Danny Lennon said:-

“It’s a great boost for Jay to be included in the International squad and representing your country is always a huge honour. It shows that he’s being noticed and it also reflects well on St. Mirren and what they are doing in their Youth Academy.”
