Third Kit Showcases New Partners

Clyde FC is delighted to officially launch a unique third kit for the 2018-19 season, which creates new partnerships with two fantastic organisations that are closely aligned to the club’s ethos and values.

The back of the shirt, pictured here, features the logos of both The Wise Group and Show Racism the Red Card.

The Wise Group is a leading social enterprise, transforming people’s lives across Scotland and North East England, and helping them to reach their full potential. To date, the social enterprise has helped over 50,000 people to find work, giving people the skills, confidence and mindset to get their first-ever job, or to get back into the workplace.

Its sustainability services help lift people out of fuel poverty, allowing them to live in homes they can afford to heat. And through its unique community justice work, the Wise Group supports people coming out of prison, helping them to get a second chance and greatly reducing the likelihood of their reoffending.

Show Racism the Red Card is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity. Established in 1996, the organisation utilises the high-profile status of football and football players to publicise its message, with the purpose of tackling racism in society. Across Britain, Show Racism the Red Card delivers training to more than 50,000 individuals per year.

Priya Khindria, Campaign Manager at SRtRC said: “We are delighted that Clyde FC are using their third strip to promote our organisation. It creates a lasting message throughout the season. We hope to continue to work with Clyde throughout this season and beyond to promote more anti-racism activities.”

As previously announced, the main sponsor on the front of the shirt is ROCK REGEN, a Community Interest Company delivering regeneration projects with a social responsibility.

The striking all red strip, manufactured by Kappa, has already been worn by the first team in the match at Annan Athletic and will be used on other throughout the season.

Clyde chairman, Norrie Innes said: “The red kit is bold in style and attitude. The players love it! Beyond the look, it is aligned with our good and strong social purpose and we have teamed up with organisations that share the same values and deliver results, despite the challenges. These are relationships that we can grow and develop in the years to come.”

Replicas shirts are available to order from the MJM Sports website, in adult and child sizes.
