PREVIEW: Clyde v Edinburgh City

The Bully Wee will host Edinburgh City at Broadwood in Ladbrokes League 2 tomorrow.

The two clubs have started the 2018-19 campaign with a matching tally of six points and also played out a 1-1 draw in the Betfred Cup last month.

Danny Lennon wasn’t expecting any changes to his matchday squad as he spoke ahead of the match:-

“We set the benchmark for the rest of the season with the opening two results and I believe we can improve on those performances.

“Last week, we played the favourites for the title on their home patch. It was a close match but Peterhead deserved the three points in the end. We need to find it within ourselves to achieve that extra edge that allows us to work harder than our opponents, in and out of possession, and deliver that extra piece of quality that wins games.

“Edinburgh have started well, with two impressive wins under their belt, just as we have. Tomorrow will be a tough challenge for both teams, as we were well matched in our recent cup game.

“We will need to be at our very best to give us the opportunity to earn all three points, which is our objective.”
