Goodwillie Signs New Contract

The club is pleased to announce that David Goodwillie has signed a contract extension with Clyde, to the end of the 2019-20 season.

David, 29, joined The Bully Wee in March 2017 and has gone on to make 56 appearances to date, with a fantastic return of 36 goals. He was also named as the club’s Player of the Year for the 2017-18 campaign.

Speaking to the official website this afternoon, Danny Lennon said:-

“We’re delighted to have secured David’s services for another year. He is a top quality player who gives his all for Clyde in every game; and also behind the scenes and around the club in general.

“David’s been good for Clyde and Clyde has been good for him. He’s found a home here, where he is highly valued both on and off the pitch.

“We all want to achieve great things together and I’m sure that David will be a big part of that.”
