Update – Home, Lang and Flynn

The club can provide an update on three squad members who are unfortunately being sidelined by longer term injuries.

As reported last week, Callum Home has suffered a fractured shoulder. Although surgery isn’t currently planned for the defender, it has been confirmed that he will definitely miss the rest of the reason.

Another man who will sit out the remainder of the campaign is Tom Lang. The 20-year-old has missed recent matches with a knee complaint and it’s now been revealed that it’s a lateral collateral ligament (LCL) injury.

Matt Flynn – who has been out for most of 2017-18 – has now had an operation to repair an abdominal problem and will begin a period of rehabilitation.

Clyde manager Danny Lennon said:-

“It’s a similar message to all three guys now; it’s important for themselves that they work hard to be ready for the summer and the new season ahead. We wish them all a speedy recovery.”
