PREVIEW: Edinburgh City v Clyde

The Bully Wee will tonight visit Ainslie Park for the first time in the 2017-18 Ladbrokes League 2 season.

Both teams have enjoyed a good run of form recently and the two previous meetings at Broadwood were close affairs, both featuring five goals in reverse 3-2 scorelines.

Danny Lennon has no fresh injury concerns, and the Clyde boss spoke to the official website this morning:-

“We’re really looking forward to the game and it looks like it’ll be a nice night for football – which will be the total opposite of Saturday!

“Edinburgh’s recent form doesn’t surprise me and they really impressed me at Broadwood in our last meeting. They gave us a really good game and showed good character. I know James (McDonaugh) well and the way he wants the game to be played.

“We still want to win as many games as we can and see where it takes us. There are 24 points to play for and there will still be twists and turns in the table – while we still have an opportunity we will believe that we can turn it around. We aren’t content with where we are and we want to finish as high as we possibly can.”

Kick-off is at 7.45pm. Admission prices are £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.
