PREVIEW: Cowdenbeath v Clyde

The Bully Wee’s Ladbrokes League 2 campaign continues this evening, with a rearranged match at Cowdenbeath.

Both teams are on a good run of form and The Blue Brazil are unbeaten in four, as they try to make a late push to avoid the relegation play-off.

Club captain Kevin Nicoll is available again after suspension, with a further one-match ban to follow next week. Clyde manager Danny Lennon had no fresh injury concerns to report when he spoke to the official website this morning:-

“It’s very much a team effort at the moment with all of the squad playing a part and I’m delighted about that. We did a bit of business in January because we knew we would hit a busy period that would stretch us.

“The boys are in a good place at the moment; physically, mentally and, most importantly, collectively. I know it’s a cliché, but we need to take it one game at a time now. There are more twists and turns to come.

“Cowdenbeath having nothing to lose now in trying to get back into the pack. Our position has changed a lot within a week and the same thing could happen to them. They are on a good run and will be fighting for everything.”

Kick-off at Central Park is 7.45pm. Admission is £12 for adults and £6 for concessions (photographic ID may be requested). Clyde supporters will be accommodated in the Old Stand with entry via the High Street turnstiles.
