Four Weeks Until Sportsman’s Dinner

There are now only four weeks until the club’s 2017 Sportsman’s Dinner, which remains one of the most important events on the fundraising calendar.

The dinner will take place at the iconic Barras Art and Design (BAaD) venue in Glasgow on Saturday 11th November, from 7pm to late. Two superb headline acts have been secured for the evening; Phil Differ and Willie Allan.

Tickets remain on sale, with prices set at £55 per person, with a reduction to £50 for club owners and to £500 for a table of ten booking. Places can be secured now be emailing commercial@clydefc.co.uk or directly through the official online payment page.

The four-course menu, with individual choices for the starter and main, has now been finalised as below:-


Starter

  • red lentil and vegetable soup (v)
  • country pea and ham hock terrine, pea shoot and beetroot gel

‘River of Good’ Seafood Platter*

Main

  • breast of chicken, chantenay carrots, dauphinoise potatoes, carrot puree, herb jus, carrot crisp
  • red pepper & pearl barley risotto, roasted asparagus & vine tomatoes (v)

Dessert

  • salted caramel cheesecake

Tea, coffee & tablet


* As an additional option on the night, a special seafood platter fifth course can be added to each table. The platter will cost £50 per table of ten, with £25 being donated directly to the Clyde Community Foundation.
