PREVIEW: Clyde v Cowdenbeath
For the second week in a row, The Bully Wee have a home match in Ladbrokes League 2, with Cowdenbeath travelling to Broadwood tomorrow.
Both clubs will be hoping to bounce back from defeats last week and also start climbing the table, after disappointing starts overall.
For Clyde, David Gormley and Matt Flynn continue to be ruled out, with Andy Munro (suspended) and Kyle Bradley (groin) joining them on the sidelines. Darren Ramsay is, however, expected to return to the squad after missing last week’s match.
Speaking to the official website this evening, Jim Chapman said:-
“The players were mentally really down after losing last week, especially with how the game went. It was another reminder that you can’t be at anything less than 100% in this league. I heard the frustration in the stands and it was every bit as a frustrating for us.
“There’s been a bit of ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ about us so far this season, but being at home tomorrow is a massive opportunity to bounce back and take away the hurt from last week. To do that, we’ve got to make better decisions on the ball and improve our speed of play.”
