Brian McCammick

It is with a deep sense of sadness and shock that the club tonight announces the death of Brian McCammick, a long serving member of the Clyde matchday staff.

Brian, who held the matchday roles of Main Reception Host and Head Gatechecker, passed away after developing a sudden and fatal medical condition.

Vice chairman John Taylor said: “Brian was in his third decade with the club and he was an integral part of our matchday operations. He followed in his father’s footsteps into the role as Head Gatechecker and will be badly missed by us all. We are still coming to terms with this news.”

The condolences of all connected with Clyde Football Club go out to Brian’s family at this extremely difficult and painful time.
