PREVIEW: Clyde v Elgin City
The Bully Wee host Elgin City tomorrow in the club’s 30th League Two match of the season.
The two clubs met just 10 days ago when the Moray side ran out 2-0 winners at Borough Briggs but, with the teams tied level on 34 points, tomorrow’s clash promises to be a tight contest.
Elgin enjoyed a fine run of form after new boss Jim Weir was first appointed, winning six out of eight matches from Christmas. However, the victory against Clyde last week was Elgin’s only win in the last five games.
The home team has won each of the last eight encounters between the sides, with five Borough Briggs victories for Elgin and three Broadwood wins for Clyde.
For The Bully Wee, Steven McDougall returns from suspension but Scott McLaughlin and Scott Ferguson continue to be ruled out by injury.
