PREVIEW: Clyde v East Fife
The Bully Wee’s run of games against teams in the top four of League Two continues today, when East Fife visit Broadwood.
The Fifers edged Clyde out of the play-offs last season with Gary Naysmith’s men winning a dramatic penalty shoot out 7-6. However, when the teams met earlier this season a 38th minute Scott McManus strike was enough to earn all three points for Barry Ferguson’s men.
East Fife go into the match with just one defeat in their last six, but if history is anything to go by there will not be much between the teams tomorrow – the two sides have been split by one goal or less in 12 of the last 13 encounters.
Clyde have the upper hand in the most recent games between the sides with three wins and a draw in the last five games and victory tomorrow could see The Bully Wee climb to seventh place.
Don’t forget that you can ‘Bring a Friend for a Fiver’ to the match – vouchers will be available for purchase from the Clyde Office before kick-off.
