McColm Signs New Deal

The club is pleased to announce that Stuart McColm has agreed terms on a new 18-month contract with The Bully Wee, as part of the Player Investment Initiative.

The 24-year-old winger has again been a prominent part of the team this season, playing in 23 matches with 5 goals and 6 assists to date.

The deal, which ties Stuart to Clyde until the end of the 2014-15 season, comes following The Cook School Scotland agreeing to back a player as part of the investment scheme.

Clyde director, Bobby Gracey said:-

“I would like to thank Craig Stevenson, Managing Director of The Cook School Scotland, for supporting the club in this way and we look forward to working with him and his team to build a long-term business relationship.

“Similarly, I am delighted for Stuart as his selection is a just reward for the outstanding performances he has delivered for the club this season.”

The Player Investment Initiative allows businesses, individuals or consortiums to invest in a player’s future to the benefit of all parties. Since its launch in 2012, it has been responsible for securing the contracts of Jamie Barclay, Gavin Brown, Scott Ferguson and Stefan McCluskey.

The club is also expecting to announce another addition to the scheme this week, with news to follow on the official website.
