Contract Extension for Barclay
The club is pleased to confirm that Jamie Barclay has extended his contract until the end of the 2014-15 season.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper’s immediate future has been secured via the Young Player Investment Initiative.
Clyde manager, Jim Duffy said:-
“Jamie’s improving all the time and, as a young goalkeeper, there’s still lots he can learn. He’s been outstanding recently, making some unbelievable saves at important moments.
“I’m delighted that he has signed a new deal and it’s important that, as a club, we try and do that with young players.”
Club director, Bobby Gracey added:-
“Jamie is one of several first team players that have been included our innovative player investment model. It’s great that we are able to to utilise the scheme to not only secure our best assets, but also provide funds for our manager to strengthen our squad.”
