New Shirt Sponsorship Deal

Clyde FC is delighted to announce that O’Neill Interiors will be the club’s official home shirt sponsor for the next two seasons.

Clyde commercial director, Gary Ballantyne said: “I am extremely delighted, on behalf of the club, to have secured the two year sponsorship with O’Neill Interiors.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank IFIC Forensics for their sponsorship for season 2012-13. A recent change in its business structure and strategy did not permit us to continue with a longer term partnership agreement, but we thank them for their association with our club over the last year.

“We will also have a new, white Joma shirt available for the whole period of 2013-15. We were conscious that it had become ‘the norm’ for football clubs to change their kit every year and expect the fans to buy the latest shirt, irrespective of personal financial circumstances. Therefore we decided to secure a longer term deal with this two year initiative of kit merchandising.

“We trust that a return to our more traditional shirt style will be favourable amongst our support.”

At The Bully Wee’s final game of the season against Stirling Albion on May 4th, the club will officially launch the new shirt and have replicas on sale in the Club Shop. Supporters that attended the EGM at the weekend, have already had a first glimpse of the new design.

Pictures and full information will be published on the website before the Stirling match and Ian McCallum of Only Sport Ltd will be taking pre-orders to avoid any disappointment on the day.

A statement from Willie O’Neill – managing director of O’Neill Interiors and Clyde youth academy director – will follow.
