Gilfillan Moves On

The club can confirm that Bryan Gilfillan will be leaving Clyde.

The popular midfielder, who signed from Annan Athletic in August, has changed jobs recently and his work commitments will prevent him continuing with The Bully Wee.

Manager Jim Duffy explained, “Bryan was given an excellent offer for an offshore job which involves him doing initial training for five weeks then working two weeks on, two weeks off. It is a great opportunity for him and I fully understand his reasons for leaving.

“Gilly was a terrific option for us, as he had strength and game experience with an on field presence that helped us considerably during his brief stay here.

“It is a disappointment to see him go but we all wish him every success in the future.”

Gilfillan featured in 18 matches for The Bully Wee, scoring 4 goals and recording 6 assists.
