Loan Deal for Lamie

The club has confirmed the signature of Ricki Lamie on a short-term loan deal from Airdrie United.

The 19-year-old defender broke into the Airdrie first team towards the end of last season and went on to feature in 10 matches, before a recent loan spell at Bathgate Thistle.

Ricki has signed until 13th January and is likely to be in the squad for tomorrow’s IRN-BRU Third Division match at Annan Athletic.

Jim Duffy was pleased with the addition: “It’s no secret that we’ve been looking to add to our options in central defence. Ricki is left sided too which is another positive.

“I went to see Airdrie play on Monday and I was impressed with his performance. Athough he is still a young lad, he is a big strong player and will go into the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Annan.”
