PREVIEW: Peterhead v Clyde

Clyde travel North to Peterhead today and despite the lowly position of the Blue Toon, side manager Jim Duffy is in no doubt that the match represents a tough task for the Bully Wee.

Gavin Brown (groin), who was injured in Clyde’s 7-1 victory over East Stirlingshire, remains the only doubt. The fixture of course marks the start of the second quarter of the season with Clyde having won the first match between the two clubs at the very beginning of the campaign.

Peterhead were the pre-season favourites and with a front two of Rory McAllister and Martin Bavidge, despite their poor start, it is highly unlikely that the club will remain towards the bottom of the table and the recently appointed Jim McInally will be going all out for his first home victory of his tenure today.
