Peterhead 0-0 Clyde
The Bully Wee left Balmoor Stadium with something to show for the long journey this afternoon, as neither side could find a goal to prevent a share of the points.
It turned out to be a classic “game of two halves”, with Clyde left to rue several missed chances in the opening period of the match that could have secured a very strong position by the half-time break.
However, the hosts came back strongly after the interval and their second half performance was enough to make it a fair draw overall.
One disappointing aspect of the match for Jim Duffy was the sending off of captain Paul Hay (pictured, far left), for two bookings shown to him in the closing stages. However, the numerical disadvantage didn’t prevent Clyde from seeing out the contest and earning a credible point from what is always a difficult away fixture.
