On Course for a Great Day

The fourth Clyde FC annual golf day takes place at Lenzie Golf Club on Friday and preparations are almost complete.

All 23 team slots have now been sold, meaning that the event is well on course to make another five-figure sum for the club.

Amongst the celebrities taking part on the day are; Dougie Donnelly, Graeme Dott, Murdo McLeod, Frank McGarvey, Bertie Auld, Steve Chalmers, Alan Kernaghan, Hamish McAlpine, Robert Reilly and Mark Clougherty.

After the action on the course, all in attendance will return to the clubhouse for a meal and the chance to win some fantastic prizes at a special auction. Up for grabs will be a weekend in Manchester to see the Red Devils take on Arsenal, a champagne night at the races and golf packages at top courses such as Gleneagles, Turnberry and Loch Lomond.

There will also be a raffle and any fans who wish to make a donation for this can still do so by handing their item into the Clyde Office at Broadwood before Friday.
