CLC Win Top Prize in Strip Draw

The shirt sponsorship draw for 2010-11 took place at Broadwood on Saturday before the Dumbarton match and there was great news for one Bully Wee fan in particular.

The top prize – first team shirt sponsor – went to CLC Presentation Systems, the company of Clyde diehard Craig Cameron (pictured here with the new shirt). CLC sells print finishing equipment to customers all over the UK and abroad.

Craig’s daughter, Kirsteen, is also an avid supporter and she is pictured on the homepage holding the new-look away strip, which is a purple/blue colour with a white trim. The second prize in the draw of sponsorship of this shirt, was won by a silver entry ticket held by fellow supporter Harry Paterson from Texas, USA.

A 4-2 win rounded off a fantastic day for Craig and he spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk after the full-time whistle:-

“I am over the moon that my company name will appear on the new home top and I’m also pleased for the supporter who won second prize. I’ve been on cloud nine all day and I can’t wait to see the team run out in the tops for the first time.

“I have entered the draw before and it’s a good way to help the club, but to win first prize is great for me.

“I hope that having Clyde fans as the draw winners will be a lucky omen for next season!”

The 2010-11 kits will be manufactured by Joma Sports, a Spanish company that currently supplies teams such as Leicester City, Charlton Athletic, Sevilla, Racing Santander and the Honduras national side.

The other draw winners were as follows:-

3rd PRIZE: Home strip reverse sponsor – G&A Wilson
4th PRIZE: Away strip reverse sponsor – Frank Dunn
5th PRIZE: Home strip shorts sponsor – G&A Wilson
