Early Stages
Although Stuart Millar does not officially start as head coach until May 16th, he took the time to let the official website know that he was already gearing up for his new challenge:-
“Myself and Gordon have been watching numerous matches at all levels of football.
“Neil is continuing to negotiate with the current crop of players. Those that will be made formal offers at this stage will be given a short period of time to decide whether to accept or decline the offer.
“That will give us a clearer picture of what the squad is going to look like, allowing us to start work on filling the gaps as soon as possible.”
Pre-season training is set to begin on June 19th. Stuart continued, “It’s important to get a good pre-season under our belts and this start will give us five weeks before our first competitive match.
“In an ideal world I would want the nucleus of the squad in place by the 19th so we can start work in earnest for the season ahead.”
