Marvyn Deal Agreed

A deal was finalised today that sees Marvyn Wilson become a Clyde player again.

The 35-year-old midfielder impressed as a trialist in three recent games and John Brown was delighted that he was finally able to conclude the move:-

“It is a boost to get Marvyn back in the side. He gives us that bit of experience and can get onto the rest of the players – we lack talkers and Marvyn will help with that.

“Importantly he also gives us a bit of dig in the middle of the park and we need that, especially as we try to create things.”

Wilson has signed a deal until the end of the season and is likely to feature at Arbroath tomorrow.

In other player news, it has been confirmed that Adam Coakley‘s contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

The striker featured in five games for the Bully Wee, including three sub appearances. “He has decided to leave us as he doesn’t want to take his career forward,” John said. “We’ve allowed him to go and we wish him all the best.”
