Howarth Steps Up

Steven Howarth today signed a two-year professional contract with The Bully Wee.

Howarth, a left-sided forward, has been with the club since under-12 level and has made a big impression in the under-17 side this term.

He was recently named in the Scottish Schoolboys Under-18 squad for home Internationals, but was unable to feature due to injury.

Steven is expected to break into the first team next season and his immediate future is now secured.

Meanwhile, fellow under-17 player Connor Stevenson was named in the squad to travel to Dumfries tomorrow and could be handed a slot on the Clyde bench.
