Well Done, Girls

Yesterday, the Clyde FC Cosmos girls finished runners-up in the SWFA Girls Under-15 league. This followed a final day victory over Stirling, by five goals to three at Stirling University.

This is a fantastic feat as most of the girls were playing a ‘year up’ and will contest the under-15 league again next year.

Head Coach Peter Smith was keen to thank the team’s coaches, David Carslaw and Kirsten Hardie when he spoke to the official website:-

“I’m delighted for the girls who have worked very hard and special thanks must go to David for his efforts this season. I hope he will continue to take the team onwards and upwards in 2009.”
