Clyde FC has a long and proud tradition of working with local communities. The creation of the Clyde FC Community Foundation as a charity (SC044165) in 2013 demonstrated a clear sign that community activities would have a wider scope and greater impact.
Throughout 2015, using the power of football and sport, the foundation has developed a number of initiatives to support people in the local community, from pre-school children at 2 to 4 years, people with mental health issues or delivering health and fitness classes to adults.
We also provide football coaching activities for boys and girls through holiday football courses and football centres.
Clyde FC Community Foundationís vision is to make a difference to peopleís lives, from early childhood to adulthood.
Clyde FC Community Foundation mission is to engage with local people using the power of football to create lasting change and create a healthier, more prosperous community.
Clyde FC Community Foundation will endeavour to work with and listen to the views of young people, adults and our partners. We will deliver our services in a professional and safe environment, ensuring high standards of customer service.
The foundation has delivered some excellent programmes so far, including Get Onside for people with mental health issues and Football Fans in Training aimed at males and females who want to improve their health and wellbeing.
Key to our approach is partnership with Clyde FC, supporters, volunteers and a wide range of organisations who share our hopes and aspirations. We believe that by working together we can create a more positive impact in the local community and bring a sense of achievement and enjoyment for all who are involved.
