Hamstring Heartache for Michael
John Brown spoke to the official website this afternoon and started with some bad news…
“Michael Ohnesorge injured his hamstring during the week and will be out for between four and six weeks. It is a major blow for the lad and a big disappointment for all of us but that seems to be the story of our season so far but we’ll just get on with it. Ricky Waddell is still out as is Neil McGregor.
“Tomorrow will see the return of David McGowan to the first team squad. David benefited greatly from his time at Arbroath, it was ideal as he scored a couple of goals when he was away. As he continued to train with us through the week you saw the difference in his confidence and hopefully he can continue to develop with us.
“We deserved a share of the points last week. It was a gritty performance but we did well. It’s important that we build on that performance at Palmerston and get ourselves moving up the table. Queen of the South have a good home record but we need to match them, its just a pity that injuries have affected us which prevents me once again from keeping the same line-up.”
