Loan Ar-ranger

Clyde have reached agreement with Glasgow Rangers for the signings of Paul Emslie and Alan Lowing this morning. Both players arrive from The Gers on loan deals until January 5th 2009.

Emslie (below left) is carrying a slight knock and misses out today but Lowing (below right) goes straight into the squad for the match against St Johnstone.

Lowing is a right-back who made his debut for Rangers against the Bully Wee when the clubs faced each other in the League cup in 2005, while Emslie is a midfielder who featured in this season’s pre-season friendly between the teams.

Both players have been on the fringes of the Rangers first team squad and will be hoping to gain valuable first team experience by the move to Clyde, while equally the Bully Wee squad will undoubtedly benefit from their introduction.
