Reserves Face Livingston in Cup Final

Livingston denied Clyde the chance of a reunion with Thistle as The Lions roared to a five goal victory against Partick this evening. That result means The Bully Wee will travel to Almondvale for the final on Monday 5th May (2pm).

Livingston will start favourites having recently won the U19 League and will be determined to achieve the double but Clyde have been delighted at their form throughout the cup run and it is sure to be a keenly contested final.

Clyde reached the final on Sunday with a two goal win over St Johnstone. Goals by Sean McKenna (30) and a trialist (65) handed the Bully Wee’s reserves victory at McDiarmid Park.

For the record, the team that got Clyde to the final was:-

McLaughlin, Carrio, MacDonald, Trialist, C McGregor, Fagan, Bradley (Nimmo 75), Roddy MacLennan (Craig 80), McKenna, D McGowan (Martin McGowan 80), Trialist. SUBS NOT USED: Hendry, McKendrick.
