Injury Woe for Clyde
Clyde’s play-off preparations were hit by the news that Gary McSwegan, Jimmy Gibson and Marvyn Wilson are all struggling to be fit for Wednesday’s vital clash with Alloa.
It was also confirmed today that The Bully Wee will also face the SFL First Division Play-Off Semi-Final minus the services of Jorg Albertz. Boss Brown explained, “Jorg has a long standing commitment in regards to his soccer school in Germany and he’ll not be available for our matches against Alloa this week.”
Despite the defence missing long-term injury victim Craig McKeown, the squad was boosted by the news that Neil McGregor will be available for selection. John confirmed, “Neil returns to the squad for Wednesday and we will benefit from his inclusion. Alloa have a good home record and we will need to be at our best.”
