Valuable Murray Park Visit

The Bully Wee enjoyed a very competitive match at Murray Park today, against a Rangers XI side that featured several first team squad members.

Marvyn Wilson returned to action following his recent appendix problems and new signing Dave McKay took his place in attack.

Kevin Thomson opened the scoring for Rangers but Clyde came back strongly and were ahead 2-3 by half-time thanks to goals from Steven Masterton (2) and early sub Stephen Connelly.

Four more under-19 players were introduced to the Clyde team in the second period and The Gers eventually earned a 3-3 draw, but the scoreline was ultimately irrelevant in relation to the other benefits of the match.
