Rangers Test Next For Clyde
Clyde boss John Brown spoke to the Official Website this evening: “Today has turned out to be a very busy day. We were disappointed that the reserve match had to be postponed so we put on a double session for the players as they need to get themselves into shape.
“I’ve not been happy with the fitness levels and our league position doesn’t lie. We have to look at our physical and concentration levels. Today was an excellent workout as we did a lot of ballwork and set pieces, however we also need
games. I’m pleased therefore that I managed to get us a closed door match on Wednesday.
“We will be playing Rangers at Murray Park. It will be on the pitch with undersoil heating so there is no doubt about it going ahead. Andy Webster, Kevin Thomson and Stevie Smith will be playing for Rangers so the match will be at a good tempo.
“The game will certainly give players a chance to catch the eye and get into the starting eleven and it all helps with the most important thing – that is getting three points on Saturday.”
