Clyde 1 v 3 Stirling Albion
The Bully Wee slumped to a bad defeat at Broadwood today, after an extremely poor performance that new manager John Brown said was “not acceptable.”
New signings Billy Gibson, Iain Campbell and Pat Clarke were added to the starting line-up and the latter was involved in most of Clyde’s positive play early on, although there were few chances at either end in the first half.
Brown made two changes at half-time, replacing the struggling MacLennan and McGowan with Bradley and Fagan.
However, the second period did not go to plan and Stirling picked off a lacklustre home side on three occasions, through Taggart and an Aitken double, before Fagan got a consolation goal from the penalty spot.
