Working All Hours

John Brown spoke to the Official Website this morning prior to first team training: “Training went well yesterday. In the last two weeks I’ve seen the guys equip themselves well against the two top teams in the division and they have to take confidence from the many positives.

“I told them that if they continue that commitment and work rate then more times than not the ball will bounce for them and I’m looking for that same 100% commitment at every training session as well.

“We have some good YTS players here as well. They may not be ready for the first team yet but in working with the first team day in day out they will be prepared properly. So we will work together to get results.

“In last two weeks I have seen us play good football and we have some good footballers here but the squad is tight and my immediate priority is to give us more options. The deals are not concluded yet but I hope to have at least two additions by Saturday in order to give us some more quality and depth in the squad.

“I’ve got a bucket of ice for my mobile! I’ve been on it so much and I’ll keep the website informed of my progress.”
