Roddy Steps Up

Just before yesterday’s win over Montrose, the club were delighted to secure the services of Roddy MacLennan on a three year professional contract.

The youngster capped a big weekend by making his debut in the match and applied himself very well before he was substituted in the second half. Roddy is, of course, younger brother of midfielder Ruari who has also committed his immediate future to the club.

The 18-year-old has greatly impressed the coaching staff with his performances for both the under-19s and reserves this season and Colin Hendry moved to make sure that Broadwood is the place where he will continue his development.
