New Board Appointment

Chairman Ian Letham has moved to strengthen the business planning and financial management of the club by the appointment of John Alexander (pictured) to the Board.

A third generation and lifelong supporter of the Bully Wee and current Chairman of Clyde Supporters’ Trust, John also has a strong business background as managing director of a specialist investment fund.

John said today:-

“The club has had relative success on the park whilst at Broadwood but has little to show for it in terms of assets, infrastructure and support as off the park has seen very few initiatives aimed at building the club.

“My role is to assist the turnaround of that position and although the Chairman is aware of the enormity of the task in hand for the club he has stressed his commitment to building a professionally run organisation that can sustain competitive full-time football.”
