Airdrie United v Clyde
Joe Miller spoke to the website this evening as he prepared for this weekend’s clash with Airdrie United: “We’ve been carrying a few injuries but we’ll be giving every player every chance to make it and undoubtedly we will have a strong side.”
One player who is likely to return is Ryan McCann: “He is an important player for us and his attitude is spot on so it is great to have him back in contention.” Another player who will feature in the squad will be Craig Bryson after it appears his move to Derby County has fallen through.
Joe commented, “There has been interest in our players but we want to keep them here, build and strengthen the squad. I would hope if not expect that we can keep all of our players together until the end of the season at least. This week we got the great news that, thanks to the Bully Wee Fund, Neil McGregor is signed up for the next 30 months and I hope that proves to the fans that we are building for the future.
“We want to finish as high as we can and tomorrow is crucial to that effect. I know our support tomorrow will get behind us to urge us on and I want the fans to know how important their backing is to this young team. We want to give the fans something to be proud of and get back to winning ways again.”
